Zachary J. Amirr is the Founder and Managing Principal of Obsidian and currently serves as a Regional Security Director in the private sector.
He brings more than eight years of experience across U.S. Army Special Operations, intelligence operations, threat analysis, OSINT, converged security, cyber threat intelligence, and operational security tradecraft.
Throughout his career, Zachary has led intelligence and security teams, developed threat monitoring and fusion processes, produced executive-ready analysis, and supported high-pressure environments where clarity, discretion, and disciplined judgment matter.
Obsidian was created to bring that operational mindset to clients facing complex risk — bridging the gap between traditional security consulting and specialized intelligence, digital protection, and decision-support capabilities.
